We will set a date for when I jump in and start customizing your Showit template. I plan to work a focused two days on your Showit template customization, so it is important for this date to be realistic to what you can provide me with prior.
Work on Your Tasks
I'll send you a list of things I need from you including a general template questionnaire so I know what you need, copy template, and Google Drive for your images. This will all be completed prior to the date we decided in the first step.
Design & Launch
I'll customize your Showit template and when I'm done you will have a chance to go through and let me know of anything you want changed. After that we will launch your site! You will get a Showit how to video from me as well as 30 days of support after your launch!

What is included in a Showit Template Customization?
The below is required by you prior to starting:
- Answer a questionnaire going through what is needed specific to your template (For example: Do you need an opt-in? Do you need a contact form embedded?)
- The Showit template itself (the cost of the template is not included in my customization price)
- Fill out the copy workbook guiding you through your template
- You will provide all images, logos, brand colors and fonts in a Google Drive. If you need help sourcing stock images, let me know! We can work that into our package!
- Customization of 5 of your main template pages
- Implementing any copy/images on the remainder of the pages of the template (for example: 404, Instagram page, policy pages)
- Mobile optimization on all pages
- Copy assistance
- Technical connections (email marketing, opt-in, etc.)
- Basic SEO on pages with provided keywords by you
- Domain and blog connection
- Video walk-through of your site at completion to make sure you know how to use Showit
- 30-day support after launching to help answer any questions
Also, I always include custom touches in order to make the Showit template unique to you.

Do I need a template before we start working together?
Not at all! If you haven't picked a template yet, but you know that is the route you want to go, I can find a few options for you to choose from and then we can get started. The cost of the template is not included in my services price.
What should I have before we start working together?
You should already have your domain purchased. The rest can come throughout our process together. This includes copy, images, and your Showit subscription. You should also have your mission statement to help guide the project. Who you are, what you do, and who you serve.
I haven't had a brand photoshoot, is that a problem?
Of course not! I would suggest having some images ready to go of yourself for your About page. I can include a search for stock images in our package so you don't have to worry about having everything "perfect" for your site.
I have no idea what "words" I need for my site. Can you help?
After we go through the template I'll provide a copy worksheet for you. This will guide you through the template (probably without you even knowing it!), and I can take what you write and turn it into amazing copy for your site.
My template is great but I don't need everything that came in it.
We will hide any sections and pages that don't apply, or you aren't ready for. We can also talk about re-working some sections. Between your ideas and my design eye, we will make it perfect.
What happens when we are done with the project?
At the completion of the project I'll send you a custom how-to video walking through your site. Showit is an amazing drag and drop platform and you don't need to be tied to a designer for every update you want to make! I'll always be here if you have questions later as well.
Can't I just customize the template myself?
You absolutely could! The idea of Showit templates is that you can easily create a website yourself, but having a professional Showit website designer jump in makes things a lot faster and easier. Then you can figure out Showit after your website is done and launched!
Why do you work exclusively in the Showit website platform?
Because it is THE best! You can customize anything and everything, plus Showit uses Wordpress to power the blog portion of things. You can check out my blog post about Showit for five reasons why I specifically love the Showit platform.
