Design Your Showit Website
Discovery
We will chat about the pages you will need and any technical 'things' you need. I will guide you and ask questions to make sure I understand your business and what you want to accomplish with your new site.
Inspiration
What do you love about websites? What drives you crazy about them? We will talk and see if you need help with brand colors, images, and any other little details to make your website absolutely perfect.
Guidance
Before I start anything I will need copy and images. I can work with copy you already have or I will send a copy workbook to help guide the process. A Google Drive folder will be our home!
After this quick chat back and forth, I will have a pretty good idea of what you need for your new Showit website.

Create Your Home Page
I always start a project by creating the home page based on what we talked about. It gives you an idea of the design direction before building the rest of the site.
Design Your Pages
After you approve the home page, I'll move forward and design the rest of your pages. When I am done I will send you an interactive link to review the site from top to bottom!
Review Your Site
I'll make all of your updates after you are done completely reviewing the site. I'll send you one final review link and we can clean anything up before launching!
Launch Time
I'll help connect your Showit site, make sure everything is functioning correctly and launch it! I'll also provide a video walking through your site to make sure you know how to update it after we are done together!

You need someone that can hear your idea or vision and be able to execute it. I don't require a lot of hand holding, and I love when clients trust me to just get in and get it done. I prefer communicating over videos and Google Docs to be the most efficient.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to build a custom Showit website?
For a custom site with five pages, it typically takes 3-4 weeks, but completely depends how quickly we communicate back and forth. I will be able to give you a better idea once we talk about your project!
Do I need any brand related items ready to go?
If you don't have brand colors or fonts yet, that's ok! I can include a basic structure of fonts and colors, as well as a typeface logo if necessary in our package. I want this process to be easy and seamless for you, so I'm happy to help in any way!
I haven't had a brand photoshoot, is that a problem?
Of course not! I would suggest having some images ready to go of yourself for your About page. I can include a search for stock images and video in our package so you don't have to worry about having everything "perfect" for your site.
I have no idea what "words" I need for my site. Can you help?
Absolutely! Depending on the situation, I will provide a Google Doc with questions that will help drive the site. I feel like sometimes it's easier for you to answer questions about your business then I can take what you write and turn it into amazing copy for your site.
Do I need a Showit subscription before we work together?
Not necessarily! I can start creating your new site in my own account, and then we can transfer it to your own when we are ready. You can view all of the subscription options AND get a free month with my link here.
What happens when we are done with the project?
At the completion of the project I'll send you a custom how-to video walking through your site. Showit is an amazing drag and drop platform and you don't need to be tied to a designer for every update you want to make! I'll always be here if you have questions later as well.
