If you are planning to purchase a Showit template, you will find thousands online when you search for a Showit template shop. There are designers selling Showit templates everywhere from Creative Market to Etsy to their own websites. How do you know which Showit template shop to purchase from? The templates look “pretty” but are they strategic? We are going to go over my top 11 Showit Template Shops that I trust and recommend as a Showit website designer. What is a Showit Design Partner?
Showit explains a Showit Design Partner as someone that is an “experienced Showit website designer who has produced consistently beautiful site designs, follow their design standards, and provide a great client experience.” The application to apply is a long process with continuous submission of client sites that have to follow a certain guideline. Also, these partners are allowed to sell their template designs on the Showit Marketplace. This is another positive when you shop from a Showit Design Partner because these templates have to follow a specific guideline. This means you can trust the templates that are being sold on the marketplace and the designers that create them!

Showit Template Shop #11: Tonic Site Shop
Tonic Templates are very well known. Another Showit template shop that you need to view the demos to experience the full templates. The animations, the movement, and the design of these templates are very high end. They come with pages and pages of pages (to lack a better term) which is ideal if you are investing once and growing with the template. If you are not tech-savvy, and choose a template with a ton of movement I would honestly hire a professional Showit designer to help you customize it.

How to pick a Showit Template
When you are trying to find the perfect Showit template, there are a few things you can start by looking at:
Question One: What is your style?
The style will narrow down the Showit template shop that I’m looking into. Are you looking for editorial, edgy with a lot of movement or something more classic and modern? Maybe you want a website that is girly and fun. All of these style choices will help you narrow down the template shops to look at.
Question Two: What pages do you need now, or maybe in the future?
This is a big one. Most every template is going to have your basics – Home, About, Service, Contact, and Blog. But what else do you need? Do you have multiple services which means you will need multiple services pages? Is a Resources page really important? Are you planning on having a podcast in the future? The pages that are included with a template are super important because sometimes it’s better to invest in one larger template that you can use over time, rather than a smaller one that you will have to keep purchasing add-on’s down the line.
Question Three: What is your investment and what does it mean to you?
The pro about starting with a Showit template is that you are getting a custom site at a fraction of the cost. Even the templates that are in the higher range of $1200 and more will be way less expensive than a custom site from any of the designers on this list. You have to decide what is best for you. Is it best to invest in a less expensive template that can get you started? Or is it better to invest in a larger template now, and have it always there for you as you grow?
Other things to consider when choosing a Showit template:
When you’re looking for a template, make sure you look at each section of the pages. Can you envision what you would put in certain sections? Or do you feel like you might be hiding a majority of the sections on the page because it doesn’t fit with what you need? Also, just because a template looks pretty, doesn’t mean it is right for you. You want to really look at each section and envision your brand in it. Don’t be distracted by the fonts and colors, because those can be changed!
